A healthy yummy option for on the go. Prepare ahead of time to make sure you still get a satisfying breakfast to start your day off right.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 Bananas (ripe)
1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup Low-Fat Milk
1 tbsp Plain Fat-Free Greek Yogurt
2 tsp Honey
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Walnuts (chopped)
DIRECTIONS:
Add the oats to a jar, along with the low-fat milk.
Next, add 1 sliced banana, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Top it off with the chopped walnuts and the remainder of the banana.
Make sure to seal the container with a lid or plastic wrap before placing in the fridge overnight.
Before serving make sure to stir it up really well. It can also be served cold right out of the fridge or throw it in the microwave for 2 minutes to enjoy it hot!
