PHASE IV ALUMNI WIN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MEDALS

Olympic champion Helen Maroulis added to her legacy among the greats in American wrestling, claiming her third straight World Championship Title to her Olympic Gold medal with a victory at 58kg/128 lbs. in the Paris World Championship Tournament. Kori Carter charged to victory in the women’s 400m hurdles with a 53.07 effort from lane nine to take Gold and World Championship Title. Victoria Anthony:  In the morning session, Anthony opened with a 28 second 10-0 technical fall over Koreas’s Miran Cheon, then pinned vines of India in 5:09.  In he quarterfinals, Anthony dropped an 11-0 technical fall to three-time Cadet World champion Yui Susaki.  Anthony pinned Julie Sabatie of France in 4:23.  Victoria was defeated in the bronze-medal match by 2017 Asian silver medalist Son-hyang Kim of North Korea and took 5th overall.

Kerron Clement, Olympic Champion, is one of the most decorated 400-meter hurdlers of all time, and had the fastest reaction time in the finals at 0.153, took Bronze in an exciting upset.

Olympic 100-meter hurdles gold medalist, Dawn Harper vying for the title at the world championships on Saturday said it was like old times, as she and Sally Pearson were reunited on the podium, with Pearson taking Gold and Harper-Nelson:  Silver; a couple of 30-something holding off the next wave of hurdlers.

PHASE IV Elite athletes are the testing ground for all of our periodization training science.  It works for them and it works for our clients of all ages and abilities.
