Victoria Anthony: In the morning session, Anthony opened with a 28 second 10-0 technical fall over Koreas’s Miran Cheon, then pinned vines of India in 5:09. In he quarterfinals, Anthony dropped an 11-0 technical fall to three-time Cadet World champion Yui Susaki. Anthony pinned Julie Sabatie of France in 4:23. Victoria was defeated in the bronze-medal match by 2017 Asian silver medalist Son-hyang Kim of North Korea and took 5th overall.
Kerron Clement, Olympic Champion, is one of the most decorated 400-meter hurdlers of all time, and had the fastest reaction time in the finals at 0.153, took Bronze in an exciting upset.
