SCIENCE BASED FITNESS

Everyday we see new research reported in the press that shows regular exercise is powerful medicine that will keep us healthy and help avoid the many lifestyle diseases that diminish the quality of life for so many Americans. Obesity, diabetes, cardio-vascular disease, liver ailments and even some cancers are all avoidable if we are more active and watch what we eat.

We all have friends and family members who suffer these diseases and you may have even lost some of them to these preventable conditions. At Phase IV we meet too many people who want to get fit and stay healthy with an exercise program that works with their lifestyle and can be maintain for life, but have failed over and over again to find that balance.

If you have had trouble achieving a sustainable fitness program and constantly fall in and out of your exercise routine, it may not be your fault.

If your workout routine has become stale and it not getting the results you want, its time look to science for better results. Most popular exercise programs are unsustainable by design. We would never use P90X or Crossfit for athletes who have to stay fit year in and year out, because these programs are not based on science and therefore they are not sustainable.

If you want to get fit and stay fit and do it with the least amount of injury, fatigue and worry, nothing beats the science based programs we use for athletes.

It’s call Periodization training, an easy to follow and near-foolproof stair-step training plan that ramps you up safely and leaves you primed to live an active and healthy life. It works for athletes and clients just like you because it is based on how the body best responds to exercise.
