SHOULDER EXTENSION
Shoulder, neck and upper back pain are all too common in athletes, exercise enthusiasts, construction workers, or anyone who sits at a desk all day. And often times nagging neck pain, chronic shoulder pain and a stiff upper back will occur at the same time, thus exercises to prevent and recover from these injuries can overlap. This week’s featured exercise is Shoulder Extension, important for increasing shoulder mobility and strengthening the upper back. This is just one of many exercises available in order to help improve and maintain shoulder stability and health! Check out the video above to see how to properly perform this move using the FTS Quad Loop Resistance Band and start incorporating it into your strength routine!P.S. Don’t forget to join Matt Larkin, PHASE IV Exercise Specialist at PHASE IV every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:15pm for a 50-minute FTS Quad Loops class that will strengthen, tone and burn calories!
